Sam Lufti won’t be appearing in court and won’t be fighting the restraining order on him.

He used to be Britney Spears’ right-hand man until a restraining order requested by the popster’s father was sent out last Feb. 1 by the court. The order was that Lufti was barred from getting anywhere near 250 yards of Britney and having no contact with her.

Lufti was accused of attempting to take control of Britney’s life by allegedly drugging her, cutting the home phone line, removing the cell phone chargers, and yelling at her. He was also reported to be controlling her business manager, attorneys, and security guards at the gate.

He was hard to track down but once he was caught, he agreed to the restraining order.

Ex-O.C. Star, Mischa Barton is sentenced to three years unsupervised probation after she pleaded No Contest to charges set against her. Additionally, she was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine, and three months of alcohol education class.

This stemmed from her arrest last Dec. 27 for driving under the influence, and driving without a valid license. She was spotted weaving in between lanes and failing to signal before a turn.

According to her lawyer, Anthony V. Salerno, “The DAs were very fair in handling this case,” her lawyer said afterwards. “Mischa’s glad the case has been resolved.” The lawyer was able to reach a plea agreement with the DA.

As Heath Ledger’s family continue to mourn his death, the future of his multi-million dollar estate suddenly takes a soap-opera type of turn. 

The late actor’s uncle, Haydn Ledger, confirmed that there was a “real possibility” that his nephew fathered a girl with another woman before he was married to fellow Brokeback Mountain actress, Michelle Williams.

According to other sources within the family, the woman and the other man raised the girl. If this is confirmed than the estate would be split between Ledger’s confirmed daughter, Matilda Rose and the other child.

Both parents of the actor refused to comment on the allegations of the latest scandal.

Dennis Quaid should sue the bejeesus out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The said LA hospital’s staff mistakenly injected his twins and one more unidentified baby with over 1,000 times the required amount of the heparin: a blood-thinning drug. Although all three babies are now out of danger, two still needs to take another drug to counteract heparin’s effects.

In reaction to this nearly fatal booboo, the California Department of Public Health has fined the said hospital with a measly $25,000.00. According to the hospital’s spokesperson, they intend to cooperate with investigators and pay the fine.

Related to this story, Mr. and Mrs. Quaid have sued Baxter Healthcare Corp.: maker of heparin, for possible packaging negligence.

The person who did the screenplay for the Leonardo DiCaprio movie-“The Departed”, William Monahan, will be writing a movie based on a true story that will be coming out in the aforementioned men’s magazine. No title yet, but the story seems to be interesting.

So what’s it about? It starts with a drug dealer who’s given another chance at life by going to prison…to go undercover. He’s supposed to get close enough to a particular serial killer and then convince him to tell where all the other victims are.

Vanessa Hudgens’ naked photos apparently spread through websites. These were allegedly for boyfriend Zac Efron. True or not, Vanessa’s sweet image was marred by these pictures. Good thing Disney still cast her in High School Musical 3!

Former child star Brad Renfro was remembered at a funeral service held on Monday in Knoxville, Tennessee with hundreds of mourners attending the ceremony. On January 15, Renfro, 25 years old, was found dead in his Los Angeles home and the cause of death based on the autopsy is yet to be released.
